P90X Workout Schedule Classic

P90X Workout Schedule Classic P90x Workout Schedule Classic version is the basic routine in the entire program. If you are looking for just the basic routine, you have come to the right place. Just so you know, there are 2 other P90X workout schedules in the P90X program; Lean and Doubles.

  • The Lead schedule is designed those that are looking to add more cardio into their workout and not so much upper body resistence.
  • The Doubles schedule is pretty much identical to the Beachbody “P90X Workout Schedule Classic” version. The only difference is that after the first 30 days, you will start to add the cardio x routine to your schedule 3 times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays). So, basically you will be working out twice a day 3 days a week adding cardio in the morning, followed by your regular routine in the later afternoon or evening to help you get better and much more faster results. That’s IF you have the energy to workout twice a day.
The P90X Workout Schedule Classic routine, you will be adding resistance training three times a week using free weights or resistance bands, along with three days of cardio x and yoga x.

I always like to recommend those that are just getting started with P90X for the first time to start with the P90X Workout Schedule Classic version. It’s a good rule of thumb to start slowly and build your way up to a more extreme routine. You don’t want to burn yourself out if you are just starting. You want to get the best out of the program so you can get the best results.

Some people don’t realize that there are 3 types of workout schedule with P90X which gives them alot of flexibility with the program. Great explanation of the P90X Classic Schedule.

I feel like with the classic schedule you are getting the most results without overexerting yourself with doubles, just my opinion!

Thanks for sharing this. I plan to do P90X after I do Pump. I think with this info, I’m going to do the classic version.
